2016 Vancouver Island Music Awards Winner


Heather is honoured to be awarded Pop Recording of the Year for “Reason to Stay”, and to be nominated for Album of the Year for “Where the Ocean Meets the Sand” at the 2016 Vancouver Island Music Awards, held in Victoria, BC on April 9th.

Heather to Perform Hometown Show


Heather will be performing an acoustic show at La Crema Cafe in her hometown of St. Albert, Alberta on Wednesday, August 26th at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10 at the door, call the cafe at 780-458-8225 to make reservations.

Heather in the CBC Searchlight Regional Semifinals


Heather is thrilled to have made the regional semifinals in the CBC Searchlight Competition. Of approximately 3,500 bands and artists from across Canada, the competition has been narrowed down to just 545, and 25 in Heather’s region, which covers all of Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. Thank you for your support thus far, and please keep voting every day and encouraging others to do the same!

Tickets on Sale now for “Where the Ocean Meets the Sand” Release Concert


Heather’s CD release concert will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 7:30 PM at The Little Red Church in Comox.
Heather will be joined by the same fantastic musicians from across Canada who performed on “Where the Ocean Meets the Sand”, and Canadian Folk Music Award winner Trent Freeman will open the show.
Tickets are $15 for the first and $12 for the second if purchased online, or $15 at the door. Space is limited, so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance. In addition to preparing for the recording of her new EP, Heather has a number of Summer shows coming up on Vancouver Island. The first show is this Sunday, June 29th at Martine’s Bistro in Comox. Heather is back in Canada, settled on Vancouver Island and has been busy writing about her experiences in Peru, and the changes she has encountered since her return.
