08/09/2007: For the month of August, Heather is busy in the studio working on her upcoming release, which is as of yet untitled. All ten songs were written by Heather, and the recording also showcases the talents of Brock Skywalker (producer), Stew Kirkwood (engineer, guitar), Jordan Mann (bass), Chris Davies (drums), Mike Edel (background vocals), and Leanne Dammann (viola). Stay tuned for more details regarding this release.

05/17/2007: Heather is thrilled to have been selected to receive a recording grant from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts for her upcoming CD. The full-length album will be available in the fall! Keep posted to Heather-Hutchison.com for important news and dates concerning this release. Also, Heather will be performing on the Showcase Stage at the Rainmaker Rodeo on Saturday, May 26 at 7:30 PM. Come out to hear some songs that will be on the new CD!

08/28/2006: On September 7 at 12:00 PM, Heather will be performing on the CBC City Centre Stage in Edmonton, Alberta. Her performance and interview will be broadcast on CBC Radio (90.9FM) the same day. CBC will also be increasing airplay of "Hello" leading up to her performance. Heather is also thrilled to be appearing at the B.C. Guide Dog Services' tenth anniversary celebration in Richmond, British Columbia on September 30. Along with Jennie Emery, Heather will entertain graduates of the program and contributing members of the organization. Finally, Heather Hutchison ringtones are now available. 05/16/2006: Heather will be performing on the Hub Stage at the Rainmaker Rodeo in St. Albert, Alberta. Her performance is on Sunday, May 28 at 2:40 PM, and she will be accompanied by special guest Anna Sato. Visit www.rainmaker.ab.ca for more information. 04/18/2006: "Hello" will soon be available to purchase in stores internationally! Starting on May 1, no matter where you are, you will be able to buy Heather's CD at a number of your local music stores. If "Hello" is not available in a particular retail outlet, many stores can order it for you!

01/24/2006: The Heather Hutchison E-Team has just launched, and your help would be very much appreciated! An E-Team is a group of volunteers who are willing to help promote an artist's music on the internet. This promotion can include posting on message boards, requesting the artist's music on internet radio stations, posting links to the artist's website in their e-mail signatures, etc. If you would like to learn more or join Heather's E-Team, click here!

10/07/2005: Heather is pleased to be performing a few of her songs as a special guest to the Mission Hill Brass Band at Brass Explosion. The concert takes place at the Arden Theatre in St. Albert, Alberta, on October 30 at 2:30 PM. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster or at the Arden Theatre box office.

08/20/2005: "Hello" is now available onCD Baby. Check it out! On September 7, Heather will be performing on the CBC City Center Stage as part of World Literacy Day. Listen to CBC Radio on September 8 to catch the show. On September 11, Heather will perform on the main stage at Waynefest in the Gospel Jam with a number of talented artists. Visit www.waynefest.com for more info on this great music festival! Lastly, be sure to tune into Global TV on September 15 at 7:20 AM, to watch Heather perform a few selections from "Hello". 06/24/2005: The gallery is up! Keep checking the website - more additions are in the works. On July 10, Heather will be performing in Calgary, Alberta, with Brock Skywalker, Ann Vriend, Daisy Blue Groff, Karyn Ellis and NQ Arbuckle to kick off Waynefest 2005. Check the shows page for more details on this performance as well as other shows coming up over the summer months.

04/02/2005: Just a reminder that Heather's CD Release party is on Sunday, April 24 at the Yardbird. The show will feature performances by Heather as well as guest Brock Skywalker (formerly of Captain Tractor). Tickets are $15.00 per couple/family, which includes a copy of "Hello", and can be purchased at the door. Additional copies of "Hello" may be purchased for $10.00. Sorry, credit cards and Interac cannot be accommodated. Cash only sales. Contact us to reserve your spot. Space is limited, so reservations are recommended. Please include your name, as well as the number of people in your family who will be attending. Reservation spots will be held until 7:15.
